Coverdale and Page
Tab

This is tablature — fret positions rather than chord names. Wide lines scroll sideways on their own, so the page never does.

WAITING ON YOU

In an interview, Page said he used the Digitech Whammy Pedal on this

quite a bit so he wouldnt be restricted to a slide tuning,

so this is all an approximation of what it is.

Heavy Echoplex:

Intro

e-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
b-------------------------------------------------------------------------|

g--/12-10-/5-0-3h5p3p0-3p0-0--/12-10-/5-0-3h5p3p0-3p0-0-3p0-0-3-5-3h5p3p0-|

d--/12-10-/5-0-3h5p3p0-3p0-0--/12-10-/5-0-3h5p3p0-3p0-0-3p0-0-3-5-3h5p3p0-|

a-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E-------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Vocals part, w/whammy pedal, *put lots of vibrato on these chords to approx.

e------------------------------------------------------------------------|
b--3\--0--3*--3\---0---5*------------------------------------------------|
g--3\--0--3*--3\---0---5*---3p0-0-0---3p0-0-3-5-3h5p3p0------------------|
d--3\--0--3*--3\---0---5*---3p0-0-0---3p0-0-3-5-3h5p3p0------------------|
a------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Chorus:

e---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
b--8-8/10-10/12--8--8/10--7---8--8/10-10/12---------------------------------|
g--8-8/10-10/12--8--8/10--7---8--8/10-10/12---15-15-12-12-15-12-15-12-12-12-|
d--8-8/10-10/12--8--8/10--7---8--8/10-10/12---15-15-12-12-15-12-15-12-12-12-|
a--6-6/-8--8/10--6--6/-8--5---6--6/-8--8/10---------------------------------|
E---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

I think thats all you pretty much need to piece it together.

I cant remember the solo, but it simple and very melodic.
