This is tablature — fret positions rather than chord names. Wide lines scroll sideways on their own, so the page never does.

BTAB: "Lie Still Little Bottle" by They Might Be Giants

from the album Lincoln

transcribed by Andy Adelewitz (ada108@psu.edu)

I only have this on a bootleg, so it may be a little different from the

album version. I think it may be the only song I've ever transcribed

or even played that's written in Bb minor. Here's bass tab for the horn

part:

Verses:

G-|-------------------------------------------------------|
D-|-------------------------------------------------------|

A-|-1-4-3-6-8881-4-3-6-8881-4-3-6-888sl13-13p11-11p9-9p8--|

E-|-------------------------------------------------------|

Chorus:

G-|-------------------------------------------------------|
D-|-------------------------------------------------------|
A-|-1--/8-6-4-6-4--------1--/8-6-4-6---8-8----------------|
E-|---------------1---------------------------------------|
G-|-------------------------------------------------------|
D-|-------------------------------------------------------|
A-|-1--/8-6-4-6-4--------1-4-3-2--------------------------|
E-|---------------1---------------------------------------|

Weird garbled part, just one note kinda picked at random:

A-|--7--|

Outro:

G-|-------------------------------------------------------|
D-|-------------------------------------------------------|
A-|-1-4-3-2-1-4-3-2-1-4-3-2-1--etc.-----------------------|
E-|-------------------------------------------------------|
