The series I have been posting on the sweep picking technique

is coming along, and I will have another addition to it shortly.

But I thought you all might enjoy this too. This is from the movie

"Crossroads" and is the sequence that Eugene uses at the end of the

film to defeat Stevie Vie. It's entitled "Eugene's Trick Bag" and

if you give it some patient effort, you'll see that there are some

really good arppegio ideas here, though Steve plays this with

fingerpicking, I have adapted it for my sweep style in as many

places as possible. You should try the same, it's great practice.

Tricky here... the first 8 notes are 1/16ths...the next four are 1/8ths

ritard for the 1/8ths... then 29 ...(which is not available on most necks)

is played by fretting the string against the bridge position pickup

on a Tele.. type guitar...(I can't get it on my Ibanez Sabre).
