Ok, well first of all this is the opening bassline that, basically, makes the entire song work

The main opening guitar melody echoes this bassline but played an octave down

Then, for a few bars, this tune is replaced in the intro by power chords around the tune

The verse is now played using the notes outlined above

After the verse the 9th fret on the A string is tremolo picked for 4 bars, with a

slowly increasing whammy pedal on the note. This then heads straight into the

chorus which is slightly more complicated. It has a power chord structure but it

involves tapping in a triplet pattern across the B and the E string. This is the

basic structure, though you would have to listen to the song to get the timing right.
