This is tablature — fret positions rather than chord names. Wide lines scroll sideways on their own, so the page never does.

Song

Artist - Hiding With Girls

Song - Cassette (single version)

Tabber - Andrew Biles

It's a pretty simple song this really, I've tabbed it in STANDARD TUNING (E,A,D,G,B,e)

although they most likely stay tuned down for this song. I've got to work out the rhythm

guitar for the verse as there seems to be a slight hint of something going on (in the

second verse especially), other than that, this tab should be pretty much dead on.

Intro

-------------------------------------
-------------------------------------
---------------------5--5-5-5-7--7-7-
---------7-----------x--x-x-x-x--x-x-
--7-8-10---10-8-7-8--3--3-3-3-5--5-5-
-------------------------------------

Verse (clean and slightly muted)

--------8---------
-8-10-8---8-10-8--
------------------
------------------
------------------
------------------

Chorus

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------5-------------------------------------------------5-
-7-------3-----------5----------3--5------------7-----------3----------5-
-7-------3-----------3----------3--5------------7-----------3----------3-
-5-------1----------------------1--3------------5-----------1------------

How can I say this right? When it's old and all over, can we

---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------------------------5----------------|
--------------3--5---------7---------------3--------------5-----------3--5-|
--------------3--5---------7---------------3--------------3-----------3--5-|
--------------1--3---------5---------------1--------------------------1--3-|

keep the night? Cos it's all that I'll see, when you're comforting me.

-------------------------------------------------|
-------------------------------------------------|
-----------------------------5-------------------|
-----------7-----------3-----5--------------3--5-|
-----------7-----------3-----3--------------3--5-|
-----------5-----------1--------------------1--3-|

When it's old and all over, what will we be?

Chorus lead (comes in on "cos it's all....." distorted)

--------8---------
-8-10-8---8-10-8--
------------------
------------------
------------------
------------------

Bridge

Rhythm (seems to just strum the C chord with the lead over the top)

----------------------------
----------------------------
-5--------------------------
-5--------------------------
-3--------------------------
----------------------------

Lead

----------------------------
----------------------------
-9-10-12-14-12-10-9-10--5-7-
-x-x--x--x--x--x--x-x---x-x-
-7-8--10-12-10-8--7-8---3-5-
----------------------------

one guitar then seems to hold the distorted C chord and one plays this clean

--------------
--------------
-5-----9---7--
-5-----9---7--
-3-----7---5--
--------------

Then the chorus chords come in

Outro (over chorus chords)

--------8--------8--------8--------
-8-10-8---8-10-8---8-10-8---8-10-8-
-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

any questions? andrewbiles@hotmail.com

I'm gonna try get round to tabbing 'Disaster's 1st birthday' next as it's their next

single, so keep an eye out.

Lyrics:

Gold bringing this world onto its knees in lost gravity,

Can't you see that I'm onward bound?

It takes time to know if its 'sorry' we mean when it's said

How can I say this right?

When it's old and all over can we keep the night?

Cos its all that I see when you're comforting me

When it's old and all over what will we be?

Salt bringing these words onto their feet through love's bravery,

Can't you feel that we're cursed and bound,

to this life that we know, to the pages I turn,

when you sleep?

How can I say this right?

When it's old and all over can we keep the night?

Cos its all that I see when you're comforting me

When it's old and all over what will we be?

It's all that I ask of you

Come falling from grace with me

Come floating away with me

On oceans of decadence...

its all that i see, from here on my knees

How can I say this right?

When it's old and all over can we keep the night?

Cos its all that I see when you're comforting me

When it's old and all over what will we be?

its old

and all over
