Such an amazing song yet so simple!
From the start to the bridge (4:01) it's F for 1 bar, Dm for 1 bar and then C for 2 bars.
Then from there, the bridge is F, Dm, C and Bb for 1 bar each until 4:49 then it goes back to
the normal progression for four bars but on those last four, you use the bridge chords.
So rather than C for two bars before the end on F, it's C and Bb for one bar each.
This will all be in the chords below though; just giving you a basic outline before diving in.
I'm playing this with no capo as it's fairly easy but if you aren't keen on the Dm or the Bb
you can transpose this down by 5, put your capo on 5th and have a fun time playing in the basic
C fingering postions. That is probably best if you're gonna solo this as an acoustic singer and
need to focus on scrunching your face up when you sing. :P
Edit: Lyrics have been fixed.
Edit #2: Upon closer inspection and a few more sit downs at the piano and the guitar there is most
certainly a C7 chord in there and have added it in. However, it also sounds fairly good without it so do
what you are comfortable with.

Intro

Verse 1

Just stop your crying
It’s a sign of the times
Welcome to the final show
Hope you’re wearing your best clothes
You can't bribe the door
On your way to the sky
You look pretty good down here
But you ain't really good...

Pre-Chorus

If we never learn we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and
running from the bullets
The bullets...
We never learn we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and
running from the bullets
The bullets...

Chorus

Just stop your crying
It’s a sign of the times
We gotta get away from here
We gotta get away from here
Just stop your crying
It’ll be alright
They told me that the end is near
We gotta get away from here

Verse 2

Just stop your crying
Have the time of your life
Breakin' through the atmosphere
Things look pretty good from here
Remember everything will be alright
We could meet again somewhere.
Somewhere far away from here.

Pre-Chorus

We never learn we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and
running from the bullets
The bullets...
We never learn we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and
running from the bullets
The bullets...

Chorus

Just stop your crying
It’s a sign of the times
We gotta get away from here
We gotta get away from here
Stop your crying, baby
It’ll be alright
They told me that the end is near
We gotta get away from here

Pre-Chorus

If we never learn we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and
running from the bullets
The bullets...
We never learn we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and
running from the bullets
The bullets...

Bridge

We don't talk enough
We should open up
Before it's all too much
Will we ever learn
We've been here before
It's just what we know

Ending

Stop your crying, baby
It’s a sign of the times
We gotta get away
We got to get away
We got to get away
We got to get away
We got to get away
We got to! We got to!
Away!
We got to! We got to!
Away!
We got to! We got to!
Awwwwaaaaaaay!
