This is a simple chord-melody arrangement of one of Django's

best-known, and most beautiful compositions.

My notation is pretty standard, and shouldn't require much

explanation. Above each tab chart I have listed the chord changes,

and the places where the downbeats fall. Two chords have been marked

with the note "trem" to indicate that I like to tremolo pick those

chords. Django's tremolo picking was so fast and dynamic that he

could create swelling crescendos much like a horn section. The

picking technique is kind of like shaking out a match. I sometimes

play this song fingerstyle, too. Some of the chords are tough to

flatpick because of muted strings in the middle of fretted strings.
