Dropped-D Tuning

Not really necessary for gu2(Omar)

Intro

Use a delay pedal to create a delayed effect when not fretting things properly.

E.g. Lay your first finger across the fret board at fret 11 or another high fret

but do not fret the strings mute them as if you were doing natural harmonics.

You can then then mess round with your guitar to create different sounds.

On my Boss-DD5 Delay pedal I set it as follows:

Level = So that the delay volumn is the same as you original volumn

Feedback = about middle to 3/4

D.Time = Middle

Option set to 3 which is 200ms-800ms. This makes the D.Time at middle to be

around 500ms.

Gu1

Continue the above for 2 progressions of Gu2's riff below then play:

Gu1 Clean Sound(Jim)
