This is tablature — fret positions rather than chord names. Wide lines scroll sideways on their own, so the page never does.
Song
"I Live In Connecticut"(Steven Tyler/Joe Perry)
Performed by Aerosmith on "Pandora's Box"(1991)
rhy.fig.1(light palm mute)-
D/E E7
E-2-------------0--------------------------2-------| B-3--0--3-------3------------3--0--3-------3-------| G-2--0--1-------1------------1--0--2-------2-------| D-2--0--2--------------------2--0--2-------2-------| A----0--2---2-------4-5------2--0--------------4-5-| E-------0---0--------------------------0-----------|
I'm not exactly sure of the arrangement on the album. It's possible that
there are two guitars playing something like this:
guitar 1(right side)-
E-2-------------0--------------------------2-------| B-3--0--3-------3------------3--0--3-------3-------| G-2--0--1-------1------------1--0--2-------2-------| D-2--0--2--------------------2--0--2-------2-------| A----0--2---2----------------2--0------------------| E-------0---0--------------------------0-----------|
||guitar 2(left side)- ||
E---------------2--------------------------2-------| B---------------3--------------------------3-------| G---------------2--------------------------2-------| D---------------2--------------------------2-------| A-7--6--5-----------4-5------5--6--7-----------4-5-| E-----------0--------------------------0-----------|
Of course it's also possible that the arrangement on the album is only
guitar 2 or a combination of the two arrangements. Just play whatever you
are most comfortable with. Play that eight times and then play something
like this:
rhy.fig.2-
E-----------------------------------| B-----------------------------------| G-----------------------------------| D-----------------------------------| A--7--6--5--------------------------| E------------5p3--0--0----0-5p3-0---|
Repeat that however many times it is called for(I forget) and then go back
into rhy.fig.1. That's it. Have fun and correct it if you can.
symbols used in transcription:
|| = connects two guitar parts
p = pull-off
On "I Live in Connecticut":
"On a boxed set there's room for some weird stuff,I guess."
